I always loved my penis. In fact, I thought it looked really good uncut. And I even thought most other uncut guys looked good (I still do; I think uncut is natural and very appealing). Every partner I ever had told me that my uncut penis was attractive and I always had good sexual experiences with it; no complaints at all. So I guess I had no pressing reasons to change my appearance. Except that...in the back of mind mind, ever since I could remember, I always knew that I wanted to be cut. I just did.

It seemed like no matter what compliments I was told by other people about my own uncut penis, uncut just never felt right on me. I don't really know how else to explain it. I went through phases in my life where I accepted that I was uncut and I tried to embrace it, but eventually that feeling would pass and I just didn't feel like it suited me. I just never felt 100% comfortable in my skin (pun intended). But seriously, that's how I felt.

So finally, I made the choice to get cut in March of 2014 (about 9 months ago). All I can say is that it was one of the best decision I've made for myself (truly). Not because cut is "better" than uncut (although I truly do enjoy it sooo much better, hah), but because I feel like my penis suits me now. It's how I always felt it should look and feel. For me is was a completely personal decision and a personal experience. I don't regret being uncut. But I couldn't be happier cut.

Some other details:
- I'm in my 20's.
- I was very careful about finding a specialist/surgeon who I trusted and felt took all of my requests seriously. I wanted to make sure I got the results I was looking for (which I completely did). I would suggest anyone considering this process do the same thing. Do not settle and make sure you do your research.
- I got a relatively high cut and my frenulum was cut as well (see pictures below).
- The main healing process took about a month for things to feel completely normal for me. I did not find the experience to be painful at all; in fact, I was awake for the procedure and even had lunch with a friend and flew on an airplane the same day. I went back to work the day after the procedure (no issues at all). I did take some pain meds at night for comfort, but truly, it was very minimal and I did not rely on medication at all.
- As mentioned, I had the procedure done in March so it's been about 9 months (I personally think the scar looks good, but let me know your thoughts...?). I think the scar will continue to blend-in and fade with the coloring of my skin. But even if it doesn't, I'm comfortable with the way it looks even at 9 months.

Feel free to check out my before and after images below. Also, feel free to leave comments. In sharing this experience, I'd love to get some thoughts and feedback on what you think.

I had it done by Dr. Bidair in Southern California (http://socalcircumcision.com). Was really happy with him and his team.
